Although the Nain deigns are fairly new in the long history of other designs in Persian rugs glorious history but this has not stopped the immense popularity of these beautifully hand knotted Persian Carpets.  The level of workmanship are measure by La which translated to number of strands in each Warp.  La count could vary from 4,6,9,12 La that unlike knots the lower the number of La the better quality of carpets, 4 La being the finest.
